About

Hello readers, I have become an office junkie purely out of selfish reasons and want to now share all of those little tips and tricks, the ins and outs with my readers. Hopefully one little thing that you read will give you a little insight into how you too can create a fun, livable office space – because lets face it, we all live in our offices.

Remember back when I wrote about being an office junkie for purely selfish reasons? Well, I have an understanding of what it is like to sit behind a blue cubicle wall, with a phone book under my desk for stability and trying to salvage the last drop of ink from an already broken pen. Learning to make do with what you have shows great character, making do with what you have in style, shows character and creativity.

Yes, The Office Gal will bring you the latest and greatest in gadgets that will help you organize your office and life mix, but I also want to share all of the little suggestions that will help you get through today, so that you can wake up tomorrow and not ask yourself, “Do I have to go to work?” The Office Gal is just not for those that work in the corporate office setting. This blog is for everyone in an office, regardless of location. We all need to have somewhere to go to gain a suggestion or two, you can also leave your own tips for others to use, or just have a place to vent about the stupid nifty item you just bought, that is now broke lying on the floor.

Now, here is a little about me. I work in the corporate world and feel a bit like that guy from Office Space, you now the one that keeps getting moved everywhere, eventually stuck in the basement closet with no space. I have yet to get the check that he got in the end. Laugh, but basically my office is in the storage room. When the company created the office location, it was built for two offices. When I came on board, the third wheel, there was no office for me. They literally created a cubicle office for me in the storage room. That’s OK, I have privacy, a door, windows, and I am closer to the restroom.

In addition to my day job, I like to write about all of the topics that have entered my life from being a mom, parenting and family issues, along with all of the funny stories that life has given me with my two children, ages 7 and 12. I like to share simple home ideas to help those on a tight budget, and once in a while I might share a few current tid bits on celebs and the lives they lead.
